#PART1 #ACNE

I liked the space and the Art work. I also liked their prints but what really got my attention was how some of their clothes where constructed. Really nice pattern cutting and detail.

#PART1 #MATCHES (NOTHING HILL)

I went to Matches not only because I have to visit it for my project but also because I was looking for Holly Fulton collections. In her website it was saying that they stocked there but when I got there in conversation with one of the sales assistant (very helpful) said that they stop stocking it :S. Overall the store is nice, quiet, very bright, full of mirrors (I can't understand why they placed one behind of that mannequin). The staff were offering beverages and allowed me to take some picture.

#PART1 #DOVER STREET MARKET

And this store I didn't bother taking pictures of the clothes mainly because it wasn't allowed but also because the store itself was so amazing that the few pictures I was capable of taking before they caught me had to show that. Such a beautiful display and detail, each floor was different, its like each space was personalized to go with the clothes that were displayed. Very well thought threw. Stuff not so nice look more like secutirty then sales assistants, don't match the store or the clothes.

#PART1 #BRICK LANE #STOLEN SPACE GALLERY #PAIN BY HAROSHI

Once I saw that bird looking at the from the other side of the window I had to go in.
The exhibition was nothing more then hand carved hood of old skateboard decks & resin but it looked AMAZIIIIINNNGGG!! Very creative and resourceful. They allowed me to take some pictures. Me and my friends had a great time

#PART1 #ABSOLUTE VINTAGE

In the wall was written "NO PICTURES NO SKETCHES"!!! But I only notice that after I took this really nice picture(with FLASH) threw a mirror, worst mistake but also a honest one because I will never guess I could not take picture in a Vintage store full of crape. Obviously I was caught by this mean Chinese lady and she ask me to DELETE my picture :S. After that I only manage to take this 2 sneaking around.

#PART 1 #BEYOND RETRO

The cutest store. Staff was just having fun around the store you couldn't really tell the difference between them and the customers if it wasn't for their tags. This is one member of the staff, she tried that cape and I ask her to take a picture and then she continue walking around the store with the cape on lol. Very nice staff, helpful and polite. The store was all themed up for Halloween

#PART1 #BROWNS

One of the sales assistant told me that the lady sitting next to the shoes was the founder of the store. I introduce myself to her and complement her about the store and she told me her name was Joan Burstein more know as Ms. B and that she had founded Browns 43 years ago with her husband. Didn't had a chance to continue the conversation because in that moment her driver came to pick her. But before she left she posed for a picture :D Lovely lady.
I actually didn't had any idea of who she was after researching I realized that she is very known and she did a lot of good for the fashion world.

#PART1 #BURBERRY

Big store. They make sure that you know they know you there lol customer service really on point but you can see by their faces that they thinking " What the hell are they doing here". Also got some serious looks from some customers, but is always funny to see people reaction to the UNEXPECTED.
The details and the way they used the sheer latex was really nice.

#PART1 #SELFRIDGES #BRIGHT YOUNG THINGS #PETER PILLOTO #MARY KATRANTZOU #CLOVER CANYON #PUCCI #MC QUEEN

#PART1 #TARA JARMON

This window display got my attention in a positive way. Love how that "gangsta" beanie got really trendy, really loved the way it just goes with everything from a £5 jumper to a £500 coat and everybody is wearing it from low to high society.

#PART1 #LIBERTY

First I took a look at the Men's wear but I felt a bit bored. Too dark, plain, boring sometimes. I think men's wear really needs a bust of life.
With this still in mind, I went to check women's wear (fun and full of life as usual) and I was checking some prints and after taking this pictures I realized this could easily be wore by a man. I don't see nothing wrong in a man shopping for himself at a women department if he can not find exciting things on his department. I think they should be less worried about what others might think and more worried about themselves.

#PART1 #BRICKLANE #FOOD&CLOTHING MARKET

Big building were people were cooking food from all this different countries but also were some Designers there selling their creations, nice things at a good price. It was leather everywhere, it got really trendy so I guess everybody has to have a leather piece to sell. The second picture got my attention because the clothes were fun but very easy to make (like this normal T-shirts with different colors cut and sewed together etc) and she was there making money out of it. Really nice it actually gave me some ideas ;)

#PART1 #URBAN OUTFITS

I like some of their man's wear, some man clothes can be so easily incorporated into women everyday clothes. It gives that Tomboy cool, chilled back look, makes a statement and at the same time they so comfortable because they not as tight as women clothes normally are. I personally love to combine them and add some accessories as well. I enjoyed going to Urban Outfits they do have some nice stuff but I just find it a bit exaggerated, I'm sure I could find similar things in a Vintage store at more affordable prices.
See threw Juju boots, I would love them if they were high heel :D

#PART1 #TOPSHOP

The staff is around but the only approach u get from them is the "Hello" at the entrance. I guess is normal cuz the store is always SO BUSY that to have enough staff to do proper costumer service they would have to recruit 2x more. I don't think that that will happen any time soon cuz the customers are not their priority, the sales are, they know that they don't have to improve cuz people will buy it anyway. Not the type of store where I would spend a lot of money (just not worth it) but I have to admit some accessories really got my attention. The beads really look like the ones African Tribes use but they more shiny cuz they r made for the High street Tribes. Feathers coat, love it reminds me of the Avatar movie. Like the way they styled it on the mannequins into 2 different looks. Its a shame that their quality is not very good and probably you end up looking like a plucked chicken when Winter finish.
